Mike is from a small town just North of us. For years now they have been honoring their local soldiers but hanging a sign on Main Street with the soldiers name, branch of service and any conflict where they have served. Mike has been in the Army National Guard almost fifteen years and they finally put up a sign for him. It took the Toby Keith article to get it done. :-) On Sunday we took the girls to the park and afterward I had him drive by it so that I could get a photo. I'm so proud of my American Hero and I know that Mike's parents were happy to see the sign on Main Street too!Friday, May 22, 2009
