Dells Trip

One of the fun things we planned while Mike was home was a mini family vacation to the Wisconsin Dells. The girls were so excited to go on vacation and to get to go swimming. A friend of mine from work got us two nights at a timeshare which included water park passes. My team at work and a group of friends also gave us money for the trip so it was a free vacation for us. We really are blessed with such wonderful people in our lives.

The trip was wonderful. We left on Tuesday around lunch. Here are some of the tons of photos that I took. Enjoy!

Miss Sydney enjoying the car wash before we got on the road

Both our girls love the car wash

Gracie getting ready to play her Leapster

Sydney took a nap which was so nice! She looks so big to me!

Before bed Daddy and Gracie being silly

Daddy and his girls!

Sleeping angels! We had such a nice room. The girls had their own bedroom and slept really well.
Getting ready to head to the water park
Sydney had to take Bear. We would be in a world of hurt if we ever lost Bear.
Gracie swimming in the kiddie pool area. I really need to get her signed up for swim lessons. She loves the water. She had Daddy on the big kid water slides all day. It was 85 steps to the top. The stairs didn't bother Grace at all but Daddy was sure tired! :-)

She is such a sweet little girl!

Can't you just tell that she is so ornery?!

Grace and Mommy

Sydney is such a Mommy's girl. She is always saying "I want Mommy do it".

Gracie and Daddy, she was so happy to have him home!

On Friday we road the Wisconsin Army Ducks. We had to wait an hour for the next tour so while we waited we sat in the HUEY helicopter they had on display. This is a picture of my Huey sitting in the HUEY!

On our way home we stopped and had dinner with my Aunt Bev and Sue. Afterward we stopped by their house so the girls could see their pets and put on pajamas for the trip home. The girls just love Wiggles the guinea pig.

Sue, Sydney, Grace and Aunt Bev, we hope to make a another trip back to Aunt Bev's this summer for a visit. The girls just love spending time with her and Sue. I do too!

Your girls are just TOO, TOO cute Kara! You said Mike would be home for two weeks so is he still home or has he left yet? Our family loves the Dells too! It is a kid paradise!

What a fun trip! I'm so glad you all got to spend this time together. Your girls are so cute and look so much alike; in the photo where they are sleeping they look identical!
