On September 14th, 2006 Sydney Lynn Heuer joined our family. Mike and I both thought for sure that she would be a baby boy but we were wrong. We didn't even have a girl name picked out but quickly agreed on Sydney Lynn. She has made our family complete. Sydney is our "spicy" little girl. She is a girls girl, loves dress make-up and shoes. She actually reminds me a lot of my sister Janel. Sydney is a Mommy's girl for the most part but also adores her Daddy and misses him so much when he is gone. Sydney is very close with her big sister. They are great playmates and I'm so glad that they are close in age. They are actually about the same size and everywhere we go people think they are twins. Sydney has given us our trying moments but she is a great little girl. Her teachers tell us how she is the best listener and if they had a class full of Sydney's it would be a perfect class. I'm proud to be her Mommy!! Here are pictures from Sydney's birthday. Mike was gone on her actual birthday so we waited for him to get to have her big party.
