A part of Grace's fourth quarter Science grade was a project for her Kindergarten Science Fair. Her teacher had each student pick a project. They had to fill out a sheet about what they planned to do and she had to approve it. Once approved the students were given a few weeks to do their project and then they had to present their findings to the class and their parents. Grace's project was "Paper Airplanes". She tested if the design of a paper airplane change how it flies. This was a Daddy/Grace project. He helped her fold the planes and one night after school she went to the gym at Grandma's school and flew her planes. Grandma recorded how far they flew. She then, with our help, put together a poster board with the results. The night of the Science Fair her teacher asked for volunteers to go first. Grace, of course, raised her hand. The teacher picked another student but that student ended up backing down and Grace went first. You could tell she was nervous but with Daddy's help she did a great job. I was so proud of her. Many adults hate public speaking so for her to volunteer to go first at the age of six made me proud. She ended up with a perfect score.
