Back to Blogging - Saying Goodbye

It is hard to believe that we are on deployment number two for the Heuer family but it's happened again.  When Mike got home in 2009 he said that the next deployment was 2013.  Neither of us actually believed that it would really happen.  All last year our Army friends would talk of the upcoming deployment and Mike would just tell me that he really didn't think that they were going. Well, on January 26th we had to say goodbye our our favorite man.  He is training for a few months and then will head overseas.  We do get to see him at the end of March for a few days and are very excited.  Thanks everyone for all of your love and wonderful support.  We couldn't do any of this without the wonderful people in our lives.  We are blessed!  Here are photos from Mike's departure...

There goes our hero taking off for Texas

I can't take credit for these next photos but someone took them of all six Chinooks flying to Texas and I loved them and saved them from Facebook.  Thank you awesome photographer!!
